This is me!
Hello Dear Reader,
If you're visiting my blog, you're likely keen about video games just like me. That's excellent! already we have something in common. Allow me to welcome you to my little spot on the web: Welcome!
So what will you find here? Well, like you, I enjoy playing video games. I also love reading about them and the industry as a whole. I'm also quite fond of the rumors and speculation that floats around the internet and truly enjoy giving my opinion on the same things too.
The reason I started this blog was simply because often times I would read a review about a game that a "gaming journalist" has written and given it a terrible score. Often times in these reviews the author uses words that are uncommonly used, the definitions of which are unknown to many people that play games. The reviews are usually quite wordy, and often go on way too long. Now, I am not a simplton, and neither are you. I graduated from post secondary school, don't consider myself to be a genius, but probably fall somewhere above average in inteligence and I get tired of reading the reviews that some of these people publish. They're boring, and as I mentioned, way longer than they need to be.
My goal with my blog is to:
A) Play a lot of games
B) Tell you what I liked and did not like about them
C) Do it without sounding like I am above you or smarter than you
D) Just tell it like it is, quickly and simply without being wordy or boring
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I invite you to both agree and disagree with mine. Thats what makes discussions interesting, right? All I ask is that we keep it civil.
